Communication dated 04/12/2023

In accordance with the provisions of Article 34 of the GDPR, we inform you that the Company was the victim of an accidental and unpredictable attack on its IT systems which may have resulted in illegitimate access to your personal data.

From the investigations still underway, it emerged that the event would probably have occurred on 11-11-2023.

The Company has already informed the police of the incident and is doing everything it can to identify the perpetrators of the offense and limit the consequences of what occurred.

Nonetheless, based on the information currently available to us, we cannot exclude that third parties have become aware of and/or are in possession of data, including data indicated on your CV and transmitted to this Company.

In this regard, we would like to point out that there have been no losses of personal documents from which information and personal details of the individuals concerned emerge.
In any case, we suggest paying particular attention to the following cases and taking the precautionary measures indicated below:

• Phishing: fake emails that have the aim of stealing information, inviting you to download (potentially malicious) files or possible computer fraud, it is recommended to avoid opening them or in any case to ascertain the sender's identity beforehand;
• Smishing: fake SMS messages or even via messaging channels that have the same objectives and purposes as phishing activities, in relation to which the same precautions indicated in the previous point are recommended;
• Identity theft: as a precaution, it is recommended to update and reset the passwords of your systems and to adopt, where possible, double authentication and encryption systems.

In any case, we cannot avoid representing to you that, to have a more complete picture regarding the severity of the attack and the possible actions to be taken, it will be necessary to wait for the outcome of the investigations underway by the judicial bodies.
